FinFix is operated by Vixen Investments Pty Ltd (ABN 77 677 662 350) (“we”, “us”, “our”). We are bound by the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
2. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly — including your name, email, phone number, postcode and the contents of bills you upload (such as provider, plan, billing period, amounts and usage data). We may also collect device and log data when you use the service.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to: analyse uploaded bills and recommend cheaper providers; contact you about switching, account activity and product updates; improve and secure FinFix; and meet our legal obligations.
4. Disclosure to third parties
We may share limited information with switching partners and service providers (for example payment processors, hosting and email providers) strictly to deliver the service you’ve requested. We do not sell your personal information.
5. Bill data and AI analysis
Bills uploaded for a one-off Quick Check are processed in-memory and not retained beyond what’s needed to return a result. Where you create an account, documents may be stored securely so you can review past results.
6. Storage and security
Data is stored with reputable cloud providers using encryption in transit and at rest. No system is perfectly secure; we take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.
7. Your rights
You may request access to or correction of your personal information, or ask us to delete your account. Contact hello@finfixapp.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
8. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to understand how the service is used. You can disable cookies in your browser, but parts of the service may not work correctly.
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted in the app or by email.
